Memphis is home to some of the best pizza in the United States. That’s right, I said it! If you’ve been here for any length of time, you know that this city has an obsession with pizza. We can’t get enough of it and we’re constantly looking for new ways to have it delivered right into our mouths. Cove Pizzeria is located in Memphis’ historic South Main district, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from if you’re planning on eating dinner or hanging out with friends after work or school hours before enjoying some pizza at Cove Pizzeria later on in the evening (or morning). The restaurant serves up Italian fare like pastas, salads and sandwiches as well as pizzas made from scratch using authentic ingredients that are sourced locally when possible—they even carry their own housemade mozzarella cheese! If you’re hungry but don’t want to fill up on too much food before dinner time comes around again later on tonight then definitely give this place a shot because each slice is only $3 so it won’t break your bank account either way!
If you want a place where the locals go for pizza, pasta and sandwiches, then Coletta’s Restaurant is the place for you. The pizzas are delicious and crispy, but they have other options as well. They also have great pasta dishes that are served with fresh vegetables and herbs from their garden next door. You can order your pizza by the slice or get it whole with a salad or garlic bread on the side. If you’re looking for something lighter or more hearty than pizza, try their salads—they’re made with locally sourced ingredients like arugula from Good Farm in Collierville.
The atmosphere at Coletta’s is casual but elegant; it has plenty of booths where families can sit together without being too crowded in one spot (or worse—not having enough room). It has an open kitchen so you can watch them make your food while listening to live music played by local musicians at night. There is also an outdoor patio area where people gather after work during warm weather months as well as during colder seasons when they turn on heat lamps above tables so guests don’t get cold while dining outside!

Aldo’s Pizza Pies
Aldo’s Pizza Pies
Aldo’s Pizza Pies is a pizzeria in Memphis, Tennessee. It was founded in 1974 by Aldo Toscano and his wife Blanche, who went on to become one of the most famous Italian restaurants in town. Since then, they have been serving up authentic Italian cuisine to people from all over. The menu includes pizzas and pastas as well as sandwiches and salads.
Huey’s is a chain restaurant with locations all over the country, but they make their pizzas fresh in-house. You can get your pizza with any number of toppings or none at all—it’s up to you.
Your options range from plain cheese with sauce on one end of the spectrum to Italian sausage, mushrooms, and black olives on the other end—and everything in between!
If pizza isn’t your thing, Huey’s also offers salads and sandwiches for those looking for something more traditional. They even offer appetizers like French fries and queso dip if you need something to go with your pizza!
Desserts include sundaes (with your choice of topping), brownies made from scratch every day by our own bakers, cookies from local bakeries, frozen yogurt topped with toppings like hot fudge or candy bars…the list goes on!
Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen
Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen is a family-friendly restaurant with a wide variety of pizzas, pastas and salads to choose from. The menu also includes appetizers and desserts.
Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen opened in 2011 when chef Andrew Ticer and partner Michael Hudman decided to move their flagship downtown eatery into the Germantown neighborhood of Memphis. They’ve since expanded their empire further eastward with locations in Nashville and Birmingham, Alabama.
The restaurant’s menu features an array of seasonal dishes, including wood-fired pizzas that are baked fresh in their brick ovens every day. In addition to offering more traditional toppings like pepperoni and sausage on pizza pies, Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen offers specialty pies such as “The Meatball,” which has meatballs made from beef chuck simmered in red wine sauce topped with mozzarella cheese; “The Sausage” (with hot or sweet), which has sweet Italian sausage crumbles blended into tomato sauce; “The Margherita” (tomato sauce topped with mozzarella cheese) plus five other options including one with fried eggplant slices on top!
You may be wondering, “A pizza guide? What the heck is this?”
Don’t worry, you’re not alone. When I started thinking about it, I was skeptical too. But after much consideration and research (and eating), I’ve come to the conclusion that pizza is indeed a great food. And Memphis has a lot of places to get it: from old-fashioned mom-and-pop joints to fancy Southern bistros and everything in between—so many different styles! But just because there are so many options doesn’t mean you have to spend your entire day trying them all out for yourself. Instead, we’ve done all the hard work for you by testing out all these options and picking our top 5 favorite pizzas in town.
While there are many great restaurants in Memphis, these are some of our favorites. There’s no doubt that the city has a lot to offer when it comes to pizza, so be sure to check out these places if you’re planning a visit!
